The Good News of Jesus Christ

Friend, you came to this page because someone wanted to share with you the good news about Jesus Christ. This good news has the power to change your life and the lives of your family and friends forever. The prophets of long ago testified that a savior would come to bring God’s good news of forgiveness of sins and new life. That savior is Jesus.

He is called God’s Son because He existed with God before time began. He was born on this earth through a virgin named Mary by the power of the Holy Spirit. Angels announced at his birth that He was the savior. While Jesus was on earth he healed many sick, blind, and crippled people and even raised the dead. He also cast out many demons.

He taught that people must follow him, they must be pure in heart, and that they must love their neighbor as themselves. Wicked people had Jesus killed on a cross, but in God’s eyes Jesus was dying in the place of every human sinner. Just as he claimed he would, Jesus rose from the dead three days later. After forty days Jesus ascended to heaven where he will stay until He comes back to earth on the Day of Judgment to finally save all of his people and judge those that have not followed him.

After Jesus ascended, the Holy Spirit was given as the sign of forgiveness of sins to all those that follow Jesus to make them ready for God’s Day of Judgment and to give them power to share the good news with people from every nation. Since that time, millions and millions of people have also followed Jesus and have experienced his power. We are inviting you to follow too.
